Salisbury Zoological Park

About this Organization

The Salisbury Zoo has offered free admission to its visitors since 1954. With visitation of over 250,000 people a year, the Zoo strives to educate and promote conservation of wildlife through its animal collection and education department. On just over 12 acres within the City Park, the Zoo exhibits animals from the Americas and Australia. Its naturalistic animal habitats and shaded pathways offer a peaceful place to visit. The Zoo's education department is very active with local schools on Delmarva, serving over 5,000 children a year with its programing.
