Marylands FIRST Rainbow Crosswalk is a status symbol of the resilience, pride, and connection Salisbury has not only to is community, but also the entire Eastern Shore. It is a landmark that has it roots in the LGBTQ community through its progressive crosswalk, its trans crosswalk, and its rainbow crosswalk, This event every year in October (during LGBTQ History Month, and National Coming Out Day) is a staple of the community where all can come together and help maintain this symbol of hope and unity. Please consider helping us continue to repaint this public art (no taxpayers dollars are used in the funding of this) each year. Show your support and pride in making sure this symbol stands the test of time and creates the connections that this community desperately needs in our current political climate.
