I started out as a volunteer for Shore Legal Access in 2017, and I quickly realized how meaningful and vital legal services are for people in our community.  Legal troubles are often invisible, and they rob people of their dignity and peace of mind. Having a lawyer in your corner means getting a will so your family can honor your wishes, obtaining a fair custody agreement, keeping a roof over your head in the face of threatened eviction, and getting an old criminal record expunged so you can get housing or employment. Every dollar directly supports access to justice with help from a local attorney for Eastern Shore residents with limited financial means.
