The Beach to Bay Heritage Area's mission is to promote, preserve and protect the cultural heritage, historical linkages and natural assets of Maryland's Lower Eastern Shore. Maryland's Lower Eastern Shore has a unique cultural identity and rich history spanning thousands of years. As someone who has spent their entire life on the Eastern Shore, I feel that it is important to give back to it. It is pivotal that we help protect and preserve our cultural identity and history in a rapidly changing world.
