Fundraiser Story

We work with local rescues and shelters , but it's the citizens if the tri-state area who most need us and bring us kittens, mommas & babies . We provide all vetting, medications, vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, as well as food, supplies & supplements for every kitten/cat in our care. However, as a newly formed 501(c)(3), grants are difficult to obtain during the first year, and we do not receive federal, state, city or county funding, so we very much rely on donations from the community we serve. We have been fostering kittens for several years, but after being in the middle of the busiest kitten season on record, we had to explore additional options to help us fund the care of these kittens, which many of us, as volunteers, have been struggling to personally provide. We've helped thousands of kittens in our community during this time. We pull kittens from shelters to bring into foster as well as accepting abandoned kittens found throughout .Delmarva. We opened a "Kitten Kafe" where, each weekend, we bring dozens of our available for adoption foster kittens to the office space we lease, located on Kay Ave in Salisbury. The kittens spend the day with us, meeting people, providing cuddles and entertainment for our visitors. We average 150-200 people come through each weekend. We have doctors and therapists that have recommended our kitten kafe as a way to provide emotional support for some of their patients/clients. We're proud of the work we do, and we can't thank our community enough for the support and love for our rescue kittens.
