MAC services help older adults live with dignity and thrive in their homes and community. Services include: elder rights, including abuse prevention and long-term care ombudsman program; support for caregivers; case management; health & wellness; an innovative dementia day program, and supportive services, such as information and referral, in-home services, nutrition and home-delivered meals. Through the Meals on Wheels program, MAC delivers more than a nutritious meal; it also provides a safety check for frail elderly living alone, and helps break the isolation faced by many home-bound elderly, as the meal delivery driver may be the senior's only contact with the outside world.
