Established in 1937, Players has presented a season of plays and musicals every season for the past 88 years. Using local talent, we have generations of families involved in every aspect of theatre. We have seen children cast in our productions who now have seen their children take roles on stage and backstage. We have grown in the number of productions presented each year as well as producing newer works and standards of American theatre. Players assists Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset County schools with their productions by supplying sets, costumes and props at no charge. We also provide the same assistance to non-profit organizations on the Lower Shore. Community Players offers a Theatre Summer Camp for children where they learn the different disiplines that come together to perform a sucessful play.
