We are a transitional, emergency shelter with separate dormitories for unaccompanied men and women and family rooms for parents with children. Christian Shelter also provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily for our guests. Shelter staff provide supervision, guidance, spiritual direction, empowerment and motivation. Volunteer clergy and church leaders from the community provide a service of christian devotions nightly and on Sundays. Free clothing is given to guests if needed. In collaboration with other service agencies Christian Shelter offers classes in parenting, life skills, financial management, holistic health, and creative expressions for children. Christian Shelter has a computer center available for children to assist with virtual learning and additional classes that will help adults with removing barriers, allowing guests to move from dependency to self- sufficiency in their lives.
