Students with limited or no access to coding , engineering , robotics and rocketry have an opportunity to participate during the school year and summer. Its been six years since the Virginia Space Flight Academy held the first rocketry and drones program at the Fruitland Community Center. FCC children were among first group to their virtual STEM Academy in 2021.
This "Year Round" program for 3rd thru 8th graders teach relevant STEM skills to increase the percentage of underrepresented youth receiving Space Adventure Camp and STEM Academy Scholarships attending public school 3rd thru 8th STEM.
