GCAC's has been focused on promoting the existing investment opportunities in Crisfield and the surrounding region. GCAC is working to identify: - hotel investors/developers - new home builders who can develop housing in several market segments to address existing needs and to attract new residents - creation of a diverse and vibrant restaurant scene - promoting small businesses in the service and retail space - attract businesses and new technologies centric to our natural resources (water/agriculture) - identify new industries to diversify our workforce as well as tourism related businesses GCAC in July 2024 hosted its first investor day attracting 70 attendees.
