Migrant Clinicians Network

About this Organization

Issues facing our global community -- hunger, poverty, violence, economic instability, climate crisis, discrimination, and war -- are pushing more and more people to move. As migration increases, Migrant Clinicians Network (MCN) is there, step by step, helping mobile populations stay safe and healthy through various projects and programs on the Eastern Shore and across the United States. Each year, MCN's Health Network saves hundreds of lives through its unique bridge case management system which helps provide continuity of care for individuals throughout the entire Delmarva Peninsula and around the globe. Here on the Eastern Shore, MCN partners with local organizations in order to broaden their outreach to include health and safety training for immigrant workers and their families. This year on Delmarva, they have focused on helping our vulnerable community members deal with the pandemic's devastating personal and economic impact and how to prevent COVID-19 and access vaccinations. Throughout the United States, MCN's patient and clinician support reaches immigrants, workers, and their families, immigrants seeking asylum as well as communities preparing for and recovering from natural disasters in Puerto Rico and beyond. Across all of our programs and projects, MCN seeks to strengthen vulnerable populations in local communities by providing the support and resources necessary to create a strong network between clinicians and their patients. MCN has continued to receive designation as a Top-Rated Nonprofit from Great Nonprofits and a Platinum transparency rating from Guidestar.
