Stories Love Music provides personalized training for those who are expected to provide personalized care in health care and memory care. We provide our creative engagement programs for Family and Professional Caregivers, both online and at a number of locations on the Eastern Shore including: DeersHead Hospital MAC in Salisbury Commonwealth Senior Living Lakeside at Mallard Landing Catered Living Ocean City Senior Center Snow Hill Adult Day Center Gull Creek in Berlin Somerset County Commission of Aging. AARP Maryland Maryland Commission of Caregiving. In 2017, we established ourselves as a nonprofit organization so that we can expand our program and number of presentations throughout the Lower Shore and eventually in neighboring areas. Our programs specifically focus on the caregivers. Who is caring for the caregivers? Caregivers work long hours, can feel quite isolated and can suffer many symptoms of compassion fatigue and stress. We are seeing employee retention issues and shortages in the healthcare and memory care arenas. Our programs provide personalized training to those who have to give personalized care. Stories Love Music provides creative engagement workshops for: Family caregivers, Professional Care Givers, Nurses, Nurses Assistants, Home Health Aides and Recreational Directors and more!
