This type of center created a welcoming and inclusive space where immigrants can access essential resource, support, guidance, and opportunities that promote successful integration and overall well-being. Culturally appropriate food pantry, provide culturally appropriate food products, resources, education, literacy and outreach to the immigrant community. That upholds the dignity of clients, meets clients' health needs, makes clients feel like they are food shopping, limits food waste, and customers take food they will use and leave the rest for others. Health and Safety program | stay healthy & prevention/literacy: Provide Culturally Appropriate Health Education, literacy, prevention and outreach to the immigrant community: Cultural Mediation among individuals, communities, Health & Safety Training. Promoting health in immigrant populations is difficult due to cultural, linguistic and socio-economic barriers. Social determinants of health (SDOH) have a major impact on people's health, well-being, and quality of life; specially the immigrants safe housing, transportation, neighborhoods, racism, discrimination, and violence. Also education, job opportunities, income, Language and literacy skills.
